Flashback Friday — 3rd Dating Anniversary

We had been dating for three years…  For us, that seemed like such a long, wonderful time.  Looking back, we now know that it was really just the beginning.  And, wow, I can’t help but think about how young we looked.

That was about six years ago!

Nate came to my house, wearing his Patriot’s tie that somehow matched my rose and polka-dot dress.  And we posed outside the house, while my dad snapped some photo’s for memory’s sake.

Nate also came with beautiful flowers, which I took pictures of so that they would last… forever.

Then we ate dinner at a nice restaurant… and went out for icecream afterward.  🙂  I guess I should have known then that he was the one.  😉

  1. Your dad took pictures of your first date? I don’t know why I find that funny. . . maybe because I could never, ever see my dad doing that.

This is actually a pic of us on our third dating – anniversary. My dad had loosened up a bit by then… 😉 He was your typical, protective dad in the beginning… and I love him for it!

  4. Wait…6 years?!?

That means you were two years younger than me in that picture. Oh my goodness, I suddenly feel really old! Haha!

Happy 3 year dating anniversary!!! 😀

    • Nicole says:

Wow, I really can’t handle math. LOL! Now that I’m adding up everything properly, I think it was four years ago. I think. Not making any promises here. Ha, ha.

Ugh, so apparently I was way off. LOL! This pic was taken in April 2008… So it was three years ago. The number ‘six’ was in my head, because that means Nate and I have been together (if you count the dating years) for six years. Wow, it’s a good thing that it’s Friday! Ha, ha.

Having read the post and the comments I’m totally lost with all those numbers, but whatever it is, happy anniversary! Cherish the moments 🙂 The coordination of a tie and a dress is great 😀
